The team you will be a part of

The Data Science team is responsible for modeling complex business problems, discovering business insights and identifying opportunities through the use of statistical, algorithmic, mining and visualization techniques. In addition to advanced analytics skills, this role is also proficient at integrating and preparing large, varied datasets, architecting specialized database and computing environments, and communicating result.

This role in summary

We are seeking an experienced Talent Analytics Manager to lead our Global Talent Acquisition and Talent Management data and analytics practice. In this role, you will be a member of our HR Analytics team focused on developing a comprehensive data strategy and leading its implementation, including all elements of our data collection, integration, storage, and security initiatives leveraging our AWS cloud environment.

You will also lead the design and development of advanced talent analytics models, tools, and dashboards to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our TA/TM initiatives. You'll work closely with the Global Talent Acquisition and Talent Management teams to develop key data, analytics, and associated tools/dashboards that provide data-driven insights to drive rapid, positive changes. Your responsibilities will include

  • Create and maintain dashboards and regular/ad-hoc reports to showcase key Talent Pipeline metrics, trends, and performance indicators

  • Integrate data from disparate systems to create unified views of data to drive recruitment, talent management, and workforce utilization decisions

  • Utilize statistical and predictive modeling to forecast hiring needs, succession gaps, and workforce trends

  • Collaborate with HR, Recruitment, and Talent Management leaders and cross-functional team members to interpret data in determining changes that enhance hiring, career progression, and workforce efficiency/effectiveness

  • Lead/leverage a remote team of data analysts

  • Present complex data and analytics-based insights and solutions to stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership

  • Provide insights about the competitive talent market landscape and recommend improvements to Whirlpool's talent strategies to enhance our ability to attract and retain top talent

Minimum requirements

  • Experience in business/data analytics, preferably in an internal consulting role

  • Knowledge of People/Talent Analytics is strongly preferred

  • Proficiency in statistical analysis, data modeling, and predictive analytics

  • Expertise with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker DataStudio, etc.)

  • Knowledge of Data Warehousing and ETL processes and tools

  • Excellent communication/presentation skills to convey data insights to technical and non-technical audiences

  • Experience serving as an external/internal business consultant serving a wide variety of internal stakeholders

  • Knowledge of Python, R or similar languages is plus

  • BS degree in Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or related field (Master's a plus)
