Construction Electrical Field Engineer

Our client, a leading government services provider, seeks a highly motivated Construction Electrical Field Engineer to join their team building a first-of-its-kind project.

Location: Oak Ridge, TN

Pay Range: $ 20-22 / hr

What’s the Job?

• Oversee electrical installations, guaranteeing adherence to quality standards, project specifications, and nuclear codes.

• Review design documents for constructability.

• Manage material procurement, including takeoffs, requisitions, and receipt inspections.

• Assist in developing work packages and temporary construction plans.

• Review specifications, bids, and contracts to ensure compliance.

• Analyze project controls documents for progress tracking.

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or similar) with 1+ years of experience.

• Strong physical fitness for construction site inspections and walk-downs.

• Experience in DOE, DOD, or commercial nuclear construction projects.

• Working knowledge of NFPA 70-2014, NQA-1, and environmental compliance standards.
