Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Application Development Project Manager/Lead in Dorchester, Massachusetts. This role is in the telecom industry, where you'll be working on-site, leading the process of translating business needs into formal technical requirement deliverables. You will act as the primary point of contact between users and engineering/development staff, while also handling system operations analysis and evaluation.

Responsibilities:

• Review, analyze, and evaluate information technology systems operations

• Determine user needs and requirements and recommend ways to improve systems

• Serve as the primary point of contact between users and engineering/development staff

• Identify, document, report, and track system issues

• Support the process of translating business needs into formal technical requirement deliverables

• Demonstrate proficiency in deploying and maintaining software products in a cloud environment

• Utilize DevOps experience to enhance system operations

• Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish

• Use leadership skills to guide and support the team

• Ensure all documentation and budget processes are accurately managed. Requirements • Significant experience in application development project management or leadership role

• Proficient in documentation processes and budget management

• Familiarity with time management software such as 'About Time'

• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience with hiring processes

• Fluency in English and Spanish languages

• Background in Engineering or Computer Sciences

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Knowledge of cloud technologies and DevOps methodologies

• Experience in onsite management and deploying software products

• Proficiency in using Appian Software and EO/IR systems

• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements

• Familiarity with systems operations

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field is preferred

• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
